Juan de Dios Garduño
Seville, 1980. Based in Madrid. Author of the novel Extinction (Dolmen, 2010), adapted in a feature film by Miguel Ángel Vivas; El Arte Sombrío (Dolmen, 2013), an anthology of stories Notas Macabras (23 escalones, 2011), El hijo del Mississippi (Stella Maris, 2016), Blasphemy (Cazador de ratas, 2016), El camino de baldosas amarillas (Palabras de agua, 2017), Cenizas (Palabras de agua, 2017) and El porqué de lo oscuro (Apache libros, 2021). He co-wrote the screenplay of feature film Fresh Blood, and has directed two short films: Fé and Lobisome. He combines his writing with filmmaking.
