Frédéric Jaeger
Frédéric Jaeger studied film and philosophy at the Free University of Berlin and has since worked as a film critic and festival programmer. His films include the documentary UNBELEUCHTET (2007, co-author and editor) and the short film NOTHING BUT PROGRESS (2016, co-directed). Since 2018 he is studying film at the Berlin University of the Arts in the class of Thomas Arslan. There he created the short film HÖNOW’S ENLIGHTENMENT, which premiered in the competition for the Max Ophüls Prize, and co-directed with Manuel Inacker MEN’S ROOM, which premiered at Filmfest Dresden in 2021. THE DELUGE had it’s premiere at the Hof International Film Festival 2021, PULL IT OFF at the Max Ophüls Prize 2022.
