I was born in 1993 in Karaganda, Kazakhstan. At the age of 17, I moved to the capital Astana, where I studied at the Film Academy. I organized exhibitions to raise awareness about the widespread violence against women in Kazakhstan. I was denied several attempts to make films because of the religious system and censorship on issues like LGBT love and others. Influenced by the injustice I faced as a woman in the film industry, I decided to move to Germany in 2018. I first took care of children with disabilities (FSJ) And since 2020 I study documentary film at HFF Munich. The only thing I can and want to do is make films!
