Felix Charin

Felix Charin (Neustrelitz, Germany, 08/22/1985). Son of a German Mother and a Russian father, he grew up in the former East Germany. He attended the HFF (Film and Television University) in Munich, where his graduation film “Leben Lassen” was nominated for the German Short Film Awards and First Steps. Before starting new projects, he thoroughly researches the environments he wants to portray. For instance, he worked for six months at a mental institution in Berlin before he created his film “Therapie”. He has recently worked as a writer for “4 Blocks” and “How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast)” for TNT and Netflix. Apart from other audiovisual works, he has previously written and directed the short films “Grosser Bruder” (2010), “Leben lassen” (2011), “Melania” (2019), “Take Off Your Clothes” (2019), “Follow” (2020) y “Lovemaking of Trolls” (2020).
