Cristian Patanè
Cristian Patanè (1991, Italy) made his debut in 2009, at the age of 17, with the 35mm short film Le Notti Bianche, freely based on the novel by Fëdor Dostoevsky, winning numerous prizes at industry festivals in Italy and abroad. In 2010 he was selected by the Ministry of Youth as "representative of young Italian excellence in the world". Over the years he has shot short films, commercials and institutional documentaries. In 2013 he founded his first start-up company, “Giffoni Idea”, in collaboration with Giffoni Innovation Hub, and then opened, in 2015, his own production company, BridgeFilm. In 2016 he became personal assistant of Piero Messina, who became his mentor. Cristian is still writing his debut for cinema, together with the scriptwriter Andrea Paolo Massara. Corpo e Aria (Holy Care) is his fourth short film.
