Kärlek i en kärlekslös tid

A documentary essay based on memories of falling in love. The experience of falling in love is said to become more rare in todays society, and that it isn't felt as intensely. This film is a reflection as to why and a tribute to all who feel intensely. In the middle ground between documentary and fiction, I want to find new ways to portray society through private experiences. I see our contemporary society as dark but that there is a light in interpersonal relationships. In a time when we are asked to primarily look after ourselves, I see it as a kind of resilience to focus on our need for each other.
