There are many stories about the Yokai: Strange creatures, evil monsters, demons and spirits from Japanese mythology.
One day the samurai Ryo meets a beautiful woman at a festival and falls in love with her.
She reveals her true form to him in the forest. While he is shocked by her true identity she disappears.
But Ryo does not want to give up his love and sets out to find her.
On his journey he encounters a wide variety of bizarre creatures.
