When Zoe and Ben, a married couple, spend the night in a hotel in Paris, their sleep is disturbed by a rustling sound from the room next door. At first, they think it is a mouse making mischief inside a paper bag in the trash bin. However, they suddenly notice that the paper bag itself is making noises and seems to be breathing. Ben tries to address the issue logically, but Zoë's emotional reaction indicates that the bag has come into their lives.
