Carlo Beer (*1985) was born and raised in a village in the Swiss Alps. After his apprenticeship as a professional chef he spent five years in Los Angeles. After he returned to Switzerland, he moved to Zurich and started working as production assistant for film production companies. From 2015 to 2020 he studied writing and directing at the Zurich University of the Arts. 2020 he wrote and directed the miniseries "Metta da fein" for the Romansh Radio and Television RTR. Currently he writes his first feature length screenplay as part of the DrehbuchWerkstatt Munich. Carlo lives in Zurich.
