MAX & ANNA is divided into two chapters, which are clearly declared as such by title cards. In both the characters go through the same scenic stations:
The story begins in the kitchen of a shared apartment.
Anna wanted to kiss him there, says Max.
There he harassed her, Anna remembers.
Two retellings of the same evening that couldn't be more different.
Who - if anyone - is telling the truth?

About the director(s)
Valentin Kruse was born in Berlin in 1989.
Being the son of two cinema operators, he discovered his love for the movies at an early age.
After studying architecture and law at the Humboldt University of Berlin, he followed his childhood dream and began to study feature film directing at the University of Television and Film Munich in 2013.
Ever since 2017 he has been working as a freelance screenwriter and film editor to support his studies.
As of now, he is preparing to shoot his graduation film at the HFF Munich.
