Paula Ruppert<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

born in 2000, studied Romance philology and East European Studies at LMU Munich. Thanks to university, she ended up in film festivals and film criticism, which was not initially planned but never regretted. Since 2022, she has been writing for artechock Filmmagazin, focusing primarily on Eastern European cinema. At the UNDERDOX \u2013 dokument und experiment film festival in Munich, she has curated a short film evening and moderated film discussions, among other things. In her free time, she pursues her passion for experimental film.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n

Andreas Schmidbauer<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Andreas has spent his free time making films since early childhood. After completing his secondary education, he began working as a second camera assistant on the ARD television series \u201cUm Himmels Willen\u201d. When the production transitioned from 16mm film to digital formats, he decided to pursue academic studies and moved to Stuttgart. At the Stuttgart Media University, he focused on film technology and specialized in stereoscopic 3D.<\/p>\n

His subsequent full-time position at STEREOTEC enabled him to gain international production experience as a stereoscopic technician and consultant, including projects in the United States and China. Multicamera systems, 3D, immersive video, and high-frame-rate (HFR) workflows are all part of his established technical expertise.
Alongside his education and professional career, Andreas continued to develop and professionalize his own film projects, which he had begun in childhood. Together with his sister Tanja, he wrote, produced, and directed the dialect comedies \u201cHinterdupfing\u201d, \u201cAustreten\u201d, and \u201cWho Buries the Undertaker?\u201d under their jointly founded company Schmidbauer-Film.<\/p>\n

Schmidbauer-Film operates both as a production company (including \u201cBubbles\u201d) and, within German-speaking territories, as a film distributor (including \u201cShahid\u201d).<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n

Alexander Peskador<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Alexander Peskador was born in Vienna in 1993. Bachelor of Arts (Theatre, Film and Media Studies) at the University of Vienna. In addition to his work as a voice actor, graphic designer, and humorist, Peskador has written and directed numerous short films. Many of them were screened at the Landshut Short Film Festival. His films tell stories of bureaucratic confusion in the Middle Ages, talking bellies, and bank robbers who have to hide in a coffee house disguised as waiters. Since 2019, he studies feature film directing at Filmakademie Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg, where he is currently working on his diploma film \u201cRolling Mother\u201d (\u201cDosenmutter\u201d).<\/p>\n
