March in Landshut is all about film! Since its premiere in 2000, the Landshut Short Film Festival has taken place this month. The event has long been a fixture in the film world. For the 26th time, it offers a unique platform in Bavaria for national and international productions. Young filmmakers, in particular, are given the opportunity to present their work.
In addition to the Kinopolis and Kinoptikum cinemas, the Salzstadel also provides the perfect setting.<\/p>\n

Several thousand viewers can look forward to a diverse film experience. The range of short films is vast, and eleven coveted prizes will be awarded in eight categories. However varied the content and genre of the
productions may be, the art of concise, essential storytelling is the common thread running through them all.<\/p>\n

As a film location of outstanding caliber, the Free State of Bavaria creates highly attractive conditions for the industry, supporting it to the best of its
ability through the FilmFernsehFonds (Film and Television Fund).
The funding for the 26th Landshut Film Festival will continue in its proven manner in 2026.<\/p>\n
