Dear festival guests, filmmakers, and friends of the Landshut Short Film Festival,<\/p>\n

It is short film time once again! Look forward to more than 200 films from over 30 countries, including 29 world premieres, 18 European premieres, and 83 German premieres. There is so much to discover.<\/p>\n

None of this would be possible without the work and support of many people. My sincere thanks go to our sponsors, funding partners, collaborators, and to all team members who make this festival possible year after year with great commitment, passion, and perseverance. I would also like to thank our audience, whose curiosity, openness, and willingness to engage give the films space and lend the festival its vitality.<\/p>\n

Especially in challenging times, it becomes clear how essential support for art and culture truly is. The films presented at this festival are bold, creative, and highly relevant. They hold up a mirror to our world\u2014and to ourselves\u2014sometimes openly, sometimes subtly, asking questions, unsettling, provoking, and polarising. This is precisely their strength\u2014and their necessity.
Art and culture are more than entertainment. They are an expression of social discourse and, ultimately, what endures.<\/p>\n
