Dear film enthusiasts, dear guests, dear short film family,<\/p>\n

Twenty-six editions of the Landshut Short Film Festival mean: 26 times pre-opening jitters, 26 times the anxious question, \u201cHave we really thought of everything?\u201d\u2014and at least as many wonderful moments when it becomes clear: this is exactly why we do all of this.<\/p>\n

A festival like this does not come into being on its own. It is created by a team that, with great passion, creativity, improvisational skill, and remarkably little sleep, turns ideas into films, plans into programmes, and a date in the calendar into a true festival experience. My deepest thanks therefore go to our entire team\u2014on, in front of, and behind the stage. Without your commitment, your patience, and your sense of humour (especially in stressful moments), this festival simply would not exist.<\/p>\n

An equally heartfelt thank-you goes to our sponsors and to all our supporters. Thanks to your help, we are able year after year to give short films the big screen they deserve. You make it possible for bold ideas, new voices, and unconventional perspectives to find their place\u2014and for that we are truly grateful.<\/p>\n

Now we wish us all exciting films, inspiring conversations, full cinemas, and those very special moments when, after a short film, you think: wow\u2014and all of that in just a few minutes.<\/p>\n
