\u201cHumour is the button that prevents our collar from bursting.\u201d Our Comedy Night offers a brief escape from the daily grind: we present a curated collection of the most absurd, clever, and heartwarmingly hilarious gems from across the entire festival programme. An evening that feels like a collective sigh of relief – tailor-made just for us.<\/p>\n

One must face life head-on to enjoy it to the fullest. It\u2019s about stepping out of your comfort zone and believing in yourself, even if that simply means opening a bottle of bubbly by yourself for the first time. A toast to family ties, to sibling love, and – above all \u2013 BECAUSE OF MOM. And if the neighbours are being too fond of each other, they can fondly bugger off. When a petty war in the block of flats replaces a restful night, you find yourself anything but SOUND ASLEEP.<\/p>\n

One morning, THE BARONESSE suddenly starts hearing voices – or rather, just one: the voice of the narrator of her very own fairytale. It\u2019s madness, of course, but actually quite a handy tool for breaking free from grim(m) patriarchal patterns. Simone, on the other hand, is disappointed with the Church. Not with God, mind you; she just expected a bit more enthusiasm from the parish priest during her exorcism. She wanted it to be like in the films: more “oomph,” less rattled off and GODLESS.<\/p>\n

Between installing bathroom fittings and attending diet club, the kind-hearted Josef would actually much rather be racing model cars. But first, he must finally learn to stand his ground against the NASTY LITTLE THINGS and casual taunts. It\u2019s hard to believe, but in a tiny garden shed, tucked away in a green idyll close to the middle of nowhere, the apocalypse begins in ZOETROPOLIS. A clear sign that one should never wander from their dreams. After all, it\u2019s never too late for world domination.<\/p>\n

Nature is a wonderful place to find oneself when something is weighing on your soul. Just try not to overdo it like Oscar in BLUEBERRY, who comes to his senses in the middle of a Swedish forest, disoriented and rather scantily clad. Finally, for the hangover after such a long night, nothing beats THE BIG BREAKFAST. Fried eggs, bacon, and baked beans will set things right – or at the very least, they won\u2019t do any more damage.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
