The people have retreated, nature is returning.Melanie walks the porous border, wondering which side she serves, a distant system or a reconquering nature. Scanning the abandoned industry, thoughts creep into her mind, of a meaningless function in a faceless system, of a free animals thick fur and pointed claws. There are murmurs in the city that the wolf has returned.
