When a knife-wielding man in a hospital smock breaks into a narrowboat, the subsequent confrontation with an off-duty nurse leaves her with a body to dispose of. But as she cruises upstream to a remote stretch of river, the body miraculously seems to twitch with life, toying with Moira’s perceptions in a way that suggests there’s more to their relationship than meets the eye.
