One day, the Baroness finds herself in a horror tale. A sonorous male voice, which no one but her seems to hear, predicts a grim end for her and drives her to the brink of madness. At some point, the young lady has had enough of the patriarchal narrative in which she is trapped—and begins to break out in her own way! Horror fairy tale meets costume comedy meets gender studies.
