Dear short film fans,
welcome to the 25th edition of the Landshut Short Film Festival! With over 250 films, many guests from all over the world and an interesting supporting program, the festival is an attraction and a cultural highlight far beyond Landshut.

In the anniversary year, an exciting program with innovatively narrated films and a special retrospective awaits us: The first festival edition from 2000 will be brought back to the screen with films over 30 years old in their original formats. It will be exciting to see how the audience experiences these earlier works today.

The Landshut Short Film Festival is known for offering a platform for newcomers. The FFF Bavaria is particularly concerned with supporting young, talented filmmakers in their first professional steps, offering them space for creative development and trying out their style, and promoting dialogue with the industry. Especially in these challenging times, it is important to discover new narrative worlds and cultivate cultural exchange. Film festivals play an important role in this.
