'The Head on Him'' set in the late 1990's, is about a biracial, teenage boy, Jamie, who's moves to Dublin from Nigeria. Desperate to fit in, he cuts off his Afro in favour of a short back and sides. Unbeknownst to him that doing this means losing a sense of his identity. He wakes up one morning to find it has grown back bigger (much, much bigger) than it was before, leading to bewildering challenges and a journey to self-acceptance.
