A young lady enters an old-fashioned pet shop to complain. The dairy cow she bought there a week ago fell into her cup while she was milking her morning coffee and simply drowned. During her search for a housemate that is at least as practical, the saleswoman introduces her to some oddities from the animal kingdom.
