Dolores (48) is a costume maker for a village guild in southern Germany. Shortly before the important Fasnet parade, she is diagnosed with breast cancer. In this moment, a jester appears to her, whom no one else seems to see. In the constant struggle between returning to her normal life and the jester, who suddenly disrupts her life, she vehemently refuses to tell her family about the diagnosis.
