Lokalrunde

Great stories are not only produced in Hollywood. They are created everywhere – from Regensburg to Neuching, from Hettenshausen to Passau. The Landshut Short Film Festival brings them to the big screen. For the third time, it presents regional specialities for an international audience in collaboration with the Landshuter Zeitung newspaper.

AN AMATEUR FILM that does not live up to its name. A self-deprecating portrait of a young actress in which the director REALISTICALLY SEEN reveals a lot about herself. And then a sensational find in an attic – or a sensational invention? TERMINATOR 1922 sheds new light on early German film history.
Nine films show how lively, unconventional and talented the film scene in our region is. Film art is more than just a hobby here – it is a passion.

The Lokalrunde Award, with a prize money of €500, is an audience award and is specifically aimed at filmmakers from the greater Landshut region or productions that deal with the topic of Lower Bavaria. Many filmmakers are present and are looking forward to an exchange with the audience.
